after l install kernel 2-6-22, i upgrade it to 2-6-24-10 and after reboot new
kernel even don't download,
just give prompt in terminal
(initramfs) enter help for menu
just I don't know what do else, so I just rebbot it and choose last
version 2-6-22.

after selecting the main US server, linux-restricted-
modules-2.6.24-10-generic was available and installed allright.
Even though this solved the problem for me, I seems that this relates to
a problem in the handling of the ubuntu mirrors: Why was the kernel
uploaded (including packages.gz) on
Anyway, I'm closing this bug.
Oops. I can't. So, maintainer, or bug squad, please close if you feel it should.
