Please attach your full Xorg.0.log and xorg.conf. Also, if possible
please test against Hardy beta or newer; we've added several patches
which affect DRI behavior so it would be good to know if those fixes
solve this issue.

Maybe it is an upgrading issue. Does the same happen with the Hardy
LiveCD or only with your Hardy installation?

I updated to the latest version of hardy and the problem is still there.
The problem could be fixed if the permissions on /dev/dri/card0 are corrected
to rw by everybody.
