The NMU of python-argcomplete 1.12.3-0.1 accidentally dropped all
changes from 1.8.1-1.3 through 1.8.1-1.5, which included the following
changes in debian/rules:
export LC_ALL=C.UTF-8
unexport TERM
I've let the new maintainer of python-argcomplete in Debian know, so
hopefully this will be fixed
It is worth noting that I cannot reproduce this build failure locally,
so the issue may be specific to the build environment.
