Public bug reported:

I can;t entre Chinese in any applications.
No matter how I pree my keyboard, only the original letter will be entered.
This is what happended after I updated the package yesterday, that is, 
everything is normal before yesterday.I have not modified any settings.
Interestingly, in the popup menu after I press Alt+F2, I can type Chinese 
normal.
