this sounds like a driver issue. please reproduce and then attach your
complete syslog. also if possible test with latest intrepid pre-release.

Motin, if you mean Bug #203177, yes I created two reports for the same
issue. This is the working bug as the other has been marked as invalid.
Today I decided to test this bug against Hardy using the newest driver
(2.6.24-19-generic) I have followed debugging procedures for
NetworkManager and I
For comparison purposes.

Using a clean install of Hardy Heron, I have tested this. It is still an
issue but not exactly like in gutsy. nm-applet is still unaware of an IP
address it did not request (since dhclient requested it). In Hardy
instead of showing 0.0.0.0 in the Connection information window, the
nmapplet menu

Hardy Heron system, and if the problem persist please include the previously

i also have the problem. i can't get correct IP address from nm-applet
when using thinkpad x61 (intel 3945ABG wireless card). but dhclient3 can
work.

do you still experience this issue with the current version of the
application?, could you please try to reproduce this using the live
environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. If the
problem persist please attach your /var/log/syslog file, just after you
