Not a lot, in fact nothing while the attempt to download was made,
twice. Attached is the journalctl from the point at which the snap
version of Firefox was launched
** Attachment added: "journalctl -f output"
you could do
$ journalctl -f
then trigger the issue and copy the log displayed in that section

Hi Sebastion,
Please could you tell me what you are looking for? Is there a way I can
prune it down first? It runs to some 17,000 lines!

could you also trigger the issue then do
$ journalctl -b 0 > journal
and add the journal file to the report?

The Firefox 99.01 64 bit snap in Ubuntu 22.04 downloads only work for the
Downloads directory. All other directories are either unavailable (Save button
greyed out), or if by clicking on the path a few times, the Save button becomes
available, the save fails, saying you don't have permission...
Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I can confirm that this is not just related to firefox and snap. After
adding the Brave browser, I am unable to be prompted to save downloaded
files. The prompt does not appear. I have heard that this is also
apparent in Chrome.
