You don't need to reboot, but also that doesn't seem to have worked and
the stack traces look the same as before. Generally if Xorg reports a
crash in 'OsLookupColor' you know that's wrong and it's just missing
debug symbols.

I sent the info from both VMs (Lubuntu & Ubuntu Unity) after installing
the dbgsym packages. Let me know if that helps.

I tried to update Mesa driver using Oibaf's PPA, but didn't work.
