I'm adding additional information here. It seems that the issue is not
related to mysql-8.0 but the kernel or qemu. After the sysbench test
starts to output lines with "tps: 0.00 qps: 0.00", the command:
# ls /data/mysql
sometimes list the files, but sometimes hang.
