Public bug reported: Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Copy a file name or a file path to the clipboard 2. Open Firefox 3. Hit Ctrl+S to open the File Save dialog. 4. Make sure that the "Name" field has focus (which it may not because of another bug) and attempt to paste: Ctrl+V Expected behavior: the contents of the clipboard is entered into the "Name" field. Observed behaviour: a dialog box appears with error message: " The folder contents could not be displayed Operation not supported " In the same spirit, editing an existing name by e.g. copying/cutting part of the name/path and pasting it back elsewhere in the field does not work. ** Affects: mutter (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1972984 Title: Cannot paste filename into File Save dialog of Firefox Snap To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/1972984/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
