I installed and enabled the GNOME Shell extensions from
https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/removal-of-gnome-shell-extension-from-
universe-and-stop-auto-syncs/18437/9 and verified that they were all
able to be activated and appeared to work.

be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
shell/42.1-0ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
