Hi,
Can you confirm that you have sound in other applications?
Also, you say you have the sound enabled. Can you confirm
that in System-Preferences-Sound on the Sounds tab
you have Play system sounds checked, and a entry for
the Log out sound near the bottom?
Also, what method do you use to log
I have sound in all other apps and 'play system sounds' is enabled with
the 'log out' sound selected. Since i am the only user, i have told
Ubuntu to log me in automatically, even when the original/default login
method was used, there was still no login sound.
