Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero
Using Ubuntu Gutsy This happens every time II try to burn an ISO. I attempt the burn but it fails with a pop-up saying that the disk drive appears to be busy and wants the media re-inserted. Doing this does nothing. It simply won't burn ISOs and ejects the media. Even Nautilus' built-in burner fails in a similar fashion. It usually will keep on ejecting blank media. I have attached the log file. In this file I noticed it used wodim as a backend so I decided to use wodim from the CLI to see what happens. Wodim burned the ISO flawlessly. Seriously, how are these GUIs goofing up such a simple process that works flawlessly in the CLI? ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Brasero fails where wodim succeeds https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197511 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
