gnome-remote-desktop requires d-bus interfaces from Mutter. GNOME Flashback does not use Mutter.
GNOME Flashback won't have integrated remote desktop until it implements remote desktop itself. You might be able to use vino or xrdp to share your desktop remotely. Sorry, I don't know for sure since I don't use GNOME Flashback and haven't tried using remote desktop there. ** Package changed: gnome-remote-desktop (Ubuntu) => gnome-flashback (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: gnome-flashback (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Wishlist ** Changed in: gnome-flashback (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1975404 Title: Wthi gnome-panel or flashback remote option is gone To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-flashback/+bug/1975404/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
