Using a fully updated 8.04.1 Hardy release and using the latest flash-
firmware for my CD/DVD burner, I couldn't reproduce this bug anymore
while burning the Intrepid Alpha 5 liveCD. Therefor I have set the
status to "Fix Released". If anyone is still able to reproduce, feel
free to reopen the bug

I have this problem (for me the disk does not eject) on hardy amd64.
The log doesn't seem to show any other error message and seems to have
completed burning but the ejection fails and the disks seem to be ok.
My computer has 2 different cd-rw drives by different manufacturers and
they both have t
@Pedro: It was actually never an issue for me. I just ejected it
manually. I just try to report any errors I see, just to give the
developers feedback, because they don't have the time to test it. But if
you want to close this one, go ahead, it was just meant for feedback.

I've forgot to say that the CD was ejected but I still have tha "blank
cd/dvd..." icon on the desktop.
Right clicking on the icon and selecting "eject" correctly opens the cd tray.
