Public bug reported: I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 6 with Acer Travelmate 3040.
I have a sound card HDA Intel with ALC883 realtek chipset. No sound at all. The card is recognized by Ubuntu. Using previous version 8,04, I was obliged to compile alsa and install module snd-hda-intel. Should I have to do the same even with 8.10 and pulseradio? ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- 8.10 Alpha 6: No sound with ALC883 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/199793 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
