Ryan Sinn, when you say "picking a location", exactly what are you
doing? Are you going to the clock in the top right corner and left-
clicking or right-clicking, or are you doing something totally
different?

I have a similar issue with my timezone being off. I just upgraded to
Hardy alpha 6 and started noticing this problem (although it was also
