Public bug reported: Binary package hint: alsa-base
After installing 2.6.24-12 kernel (and restricted-modules and ubuntu- modules), my sound card doesnt seem to be recognized anymore. When starting alsamixer form cli, i get this error: alsamixer alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device Here are details about my sound card: lspci | grep audio 00:0a.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB0400 Audigy2 Value This device used to be recognized without problems with previous kernel. Any idea what i could have done wrong?
