Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
I've created a list of items (numbered or bulleted): 1. first tree 2. second car 3. tihrd lemon 4. forth dog the third line has a spelling error on the first word of it. i wanted to change the formmating of the numbers, so i right-clicked on the gray- lighted number (3 in this example). I expected to see the context menu of the list. when actually happened is that the first (misspelled) word on that item was briefly highlighted, and the context menu of the spelling error for that word appeared and instantly disappeared. clicking on any other number popped to right, expected, context menu. $ cat /etc/lsb-release DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=7.10 DISTRIB_CODENAME=gutsy DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 7.10" $ xprop |grep WM_CLASS WM_CLASS(STRING) = "VCLSalFrame", "OpenOffice.org 2.3" $ apt-cache policy openoffice.org openoffice.org: Installed: 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3 Candidate: 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3 Version table: *** 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5.3 0 500 http://il.archive.ubuntu.com gutsy-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:2.3.0-1ubuntu5 0 500 http://il.archive.ubuntu.com gutsy/main Packages ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- context menu is missing when the first word is misspelled in a numbers/bullets list https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200343 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
