linux-image-2.6.24-12-generic:

Discovered tonight after an  upgrade that the new kernel was missing all
the sound driver files. So when I rebooted I could not find any sound
device at all... I have provided the  dpkg -L listings. The first is
labeled 2.6.24-11-generic.txt which worked properly and contained all
the necessary driver files. I have also attached 2.6.24-12-generic.txt
which is the dpkg -L listing against the current kernel and if you
compare the two you can see that apparently the new kernel did not have
the sound modules built at kernel build time.
