When you are able to reproduce this please take a note on what you were
doing and had done than report it on package you feel caused it. In your
bug report it looks like gdm caused this crash but you had so many
crashes its hard to tell without full backtrace

I've updated to Hardy Heron on the release date (2008-04-24) and had gdm/X
crashes 3 times.
But I can't confirm it depends on firefox. It was open, but at the time when X
crashed I were tweaking some preferences in Kopete.
