I conform this bug on Hardy. Printing in 20 pages chunks(duplex) works,
but printing 60 pages in duplex mode crashes evince after a minute or
so.

I tested printing of smaller chunks today and when I divide the job in
packages with 10 pages it work perfectly, however printing 100 pages
does not work.

I had a similar result. I tried to print some pages (range 95-199) of a
pdf document with two pages on one. When I click on print evince starts
calculating and crashes after aprox. a minute without sending data to
the printer.
