Public bug reported:

Every time I mount a floppy, nautilus pops up a windows with the content of the
disk.
I find this very annoying. EXTREMELY annoying.
I want to disable completely this behaviour.

I want "the unix console way", the console without the gadgets.
Is it possible to get it?
Which file do I edit to change this behaviour?

I mount a floppy, and nautilus pops up a window (window1).
I unmount the floppy.
Mount a new floppy, and it pops up a windows (window2).
Window 1 and windows 2 reside on the desktop.
If I mount twice a floppy, the 2 windows are clones.
This behaviour impedes my work.
If I unmount floppy2 and mount floppy3, the three windows clog my desktop.

If you need to implement a graphical user interface, imitate the
behaviour of the Mac desktop: display a floppy icon, no windows. Always
the same floppy... unless it is signed. But mount/unmount removes the
disk complete, then it should remove the icon too.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
