As far as i know Kubuntu Hardy heron uses Pulseaudio instead of alsa for sound driver. I also have the same problem as Vytas has. Only sound on one side, and when i use the balance in the mixer program or in Amarok, the sound disappears completly and won't come back ** Changed in: pulseaudio
