Thank you for reporting this bug and for your efforts to make Ubuntu
better. As Xorg has improved this past year, an unfortunate side effect
of these improvements is that it has rendered several design assumptions
in displayconfig-gtk obsolete. So, starting with Hardy we are no longer
putting

After having used the laptop with a projector, next boot gave me a much
larger screen than the LCD and any try to start the resolution switcher
cases a crash. System, Settings, Screen resolution worked so now it is
back to normal.

On Hardy trying to change resolution from 800x600 to ViewSonic
AV1903wb's 1440x900. Adapter is a motherboard integrated nv 6 series.
The nv driver doesn't work.

This crash with the problem of a [EMAIL PROTECTED] hz on x1300 xt from ATI
with envyng. The monitor is a Viewsonic VA1703wb. The screen shows the
resolution with a left bar on the left of the screen. I'd tried a lot
but no effect.
