Fixed the confirmation dialog in bzr trunk.
The current jockey is actually supposed to consider fglrx as being
composite-capable (i. e. if you try to enable compiz with an ATI card,
it shuold install the fglrx driver). Doesn't that work for you? If so,
please open a new bug for this.

I totally agree that gnome-appearance-properties should NOT force you to
install the proprietary driver, for a number of reasons:
1. The proprietary driver is buggy. It even renders compiz effects
jerkily, whereas the open-source drivers work just fine (certainly on my
card and, it seems, many
it doesn't force you to do anything, it just suggest you to install
drivers if you want to get compiz working, you can refuse and not use
compiz

No, it does not suggest you to install the driver, it does this automatically.
And you do not get any information that it does this in the first place. All
the user gets to see is that it installs *something* and tells you *afterwards*
what it was.

It seems this bug is a two-parter:
1. Jockey doesn't give a confirmation dialog (being fixed).
2. gnome-appearance-properties doesn't check the outcome of the
operation correctly, because it displays a message saying you should try
again after rebooting even if jockey fails to install fglrx
don't use the title to specify the version you are using, that will
create extra work to update all the titles when the next version is
available and you can use the description
