The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel. There are one of two ways you should be able to test: 1) If you are comfortable

I thought I'd chip in that I have the same intermittent problems on a Thinkpad T60 after resuming from suspend. Here's the messages from the driver after resume (slightly edited to include just the relevant bits). The laptop was suspended for about 2 hours before resume. [3.743679] iwl3945:

Hi Guys, Sorry for the delayed response. One other thing you might want to give a try is to test the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 kernel? The reason I say that is it was most recently rebased with the upstream 2.6.25 kernel and contains a even newer iwlwifi version, 1.2.26k. It is currently avai

Forgot to mention that I'm going to try with backports-modules now, but since this occurs on my machine randomly when resuming from suspend, it may not be easy to say definitely whether the newer driver fixes it. -- iwl3945 can't wake up Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945 mini card https://bugs.launchpad

I see something similar randomly when resuming a HP/Compaq nx7400 from suspend. This session is now several days and suspend/resumes old but here are a couple of snippets from dmesg for both working and non- working resumes: Working: [3.192785] PM: Finishing wakeup. [3.192787] Restarting

Hi Guys, For the Hardy Haron 8.04 release the linux-backports-modules-2.6.24 package has an updated version of the iwlwifi drivers (version 1.2.25). Care to test if the updated version of the iwl3945 driver helps at all? You can use 'modinfo iwl3945' to verify the version. Thanks. ** Changed in:
