I also have the same problem in Hardy. Here's a step-by-step:
* Run 'systemsettings'.
* Select 'Default Applications'.
* In the list on the left side, select 'File Associations'.
* In the 'Find filename pattern:' text entry, type the file extension, in my
case, 'pdf'.
* The list is filtered to j
Same problem in Hardy with KDE 3.5.9. I have default associations for
.avi files set to Kaffeine first, xine second. I set associations to
xine first, then Kaffeine. When I close and reopen the setting dialog
again, assocoations are back to Kaffeine, xine. Annoying.
