The fix is not in Udisks, Debian or Ubuntu yet, so that is to be

on which version of Ubuntu? I have both Noble and Oracular
on both gnome-disk-utility gives size null for Kingston model: SKC2000M8250G
and correct size (256GB) for Toshiba model: KBG40ZNV256G KIOXIA
while inxi gives:

Local Storage: total: 2.28 TiB used: 13.43 GiB (0.6%)
ID-1: /dev/nv
You can test the upstream proposed patch[2] by install udisks2 from the
ppa:nteodosio/fixes[1].

Sorry: on a different PC with both Ubuntu 24.04 Noble and 24.10 Oracular the
bug is still here.
Next week i will have again the PC where the problem was disappeared to do some
more test.

And also in 24.04 Noble from Ubuntu 24.04 LTS "Noble Numbat" - Release amd64

was disappeared in 24.04 Noble from a previous ISO with many updates
