had the same issue I am upgrading now with after "sudo snap remove
firefox" and will let you know. I did not remove the .deb firefox
version.

have anyone tried to remove firefox snap and deb package before upgrade
?
sudo snap remove firefox
sudo apt pure firefox firefox-*
