Hi, I confirm that, at least for my configuration (Dell Inspiron 5400 AIO), kernels 6.5 and 6.8 breaks display brightness controls. Tested 22.04.4 LTS linux-generic-hwe-22.04, so 6.5.0-41 at this time, and 24.04 with a live USB (so 6.8 kernel) i cant adjust brightness. The slider is no longer visible.
So for now i stick with 22.04 and 5.15 GA kernel. As everything is working well with this configuration.
