I've dug a little deeper into the possible reason why the JRE cannot be found:
All installed JRE's are installed under a subdirectory of the /usr directory.
When I try to select the JRE to use, I notice that this Snap does not have any
permission to access the /usr directory.
Am I missing some

Environment:
- OS: Ubuntu 23.10 64Bit (fully updated)
- Installed JRE's: openjdk-11-jre:amd64 (11.0.22+7-0ubuntu2~23.10.1),
openjdk-21-jre:amd64 (21.0.2+13-1~23.10.1)
- LibreOffice 24.2.0.3 Canonical Snap (published: Feb 5, 2024)
Steps to reproduce:
- Start LibreOffice
Note: I have installed the stable version, rather than the strictly
"latest" version because I don't trust release candidates or Beta's with
my files.
