Public bug reported: Beta 10th April. On the 8th April the ISO launched the installer correctly.
This no longer happens with the 10th April ISO. The change here is that the livecd-rootfs hard-coding of the old ubuntu-budgie-installer has been removed. For some reason the new installer is not immediately ready on startup. Not a beta showstopper- but will need more investigating and some tentative uploads here to fix probably. ** Affects: budgie-desktop-environment (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: fossfreedom (fossfreedom) Status: Triaged ** Tags: noble ** Tags added: noble ** Changed in: budgie-desktop-environment (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => fossfreedom (fossfreedom) ** Changed in: budgie-desktop-environment (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: budgie-desktop-environment (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2060854 Title: Installer no longer launches on live session start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/budgie-desktop-environment/+bug/2060854/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
