Public bug reported: Binary package hint: synaptic
Unbuntu version 7.10 Synaptic 0.60ubuntu5 I didn't understand the meaning of (upstream) in the context of "upgradable (upstream)". I found no expanation of this term in Synaptic help. It is an ambiguous and unneeded qualifier. Unless there is an alternative form of "upgradable" such as (downstream) or (yellow-brick- road), why not simply drop the reference?
