Public bug reported:
If you install the server edition of ubuntu (hardy beta i386) and mount
an existing partition for example in /var/data/ during installation, all
your files on that mount point will get deleted.
The problem is that the installer doesn't warn you, it says that it will
keep the existing data.
The desktop installer in contrast warns you!
I have attached a screen shot which compares the two installers.
