Hey Daniel,
I ran the command, but the package was already installed, so pretty much
nothing happened.
The Windows system is NTFS indeed.
If there's any report or log I can generate for you, I can gladly do it.
Don't know if it's a widespread issue of the new Ubuntu version or just for me.

I'm not sure what packages the machine is missing because I'm also not
sure what format the filesystem is. Please try:
sudo apt install ntfs-3g
and then log in again.
