Hi again Nilesh. This is an update on the situation with the driver.
- the backported patch done very early in this process is still applied and
seems to still be improving the situation
- after keeping only one instance running, we stopped having locking issues --

Hi Nilesh
So the tests since our last meeting have been successful in creating VMs
with boot volumes. What is still an issue (and has always been) is
deleting them. They get created ok but they get stuck when deleting
(does not matter if created with VM or separate). I'm attaching some
logs for th

Hi again Nilesh.
After our last call, we kept only once cinder-volume active at all
times. Things did seem to improve at first, we could not only create
many batches of volumes without issues but also create VMs with boot
volumes and those volumes got correctly created and the VMs started
well.

Hi Andre,
I’d like to understand more about the different volume services
(containers) you’re running, as the issue might be related to that.
Would it be possible for us to connect tomorrow at 11:00 AM your time to

Hi Nilhesh
We have been running tests since our last meeting and volume creation is
still having some issues. It seemed to improve (we got many rounds of 10
volumes creation without issues) but eventually it still hits some of
the issues present before.
We collected logs from the environment last

Hi Nilesh.
I just wanted to ask how this is going. I understand there has been
conversations about environments not supported, both environment having
a patch applied and also running yoga, which is not the latest.
I would like to mention that we can work on those if necessary. The

Ubuntu regularly backports patches to older OpenStack releases based on
them being present in an Ubuntu LTS release - Yoga is the release
