Maximized windows are not re
I have installed Debian 12 (with Gnome desktop) and tested it. It works
properly there, so it is really something in Ubuntu or a library it
uses.

Maximized windows are not remem
I have been kind of hoping somebody would address this issue in the
upcoming Ubuntu versions but it is the same for 24.10, 25.04 and now
even 25.10 (have just tested).
The reproduction is really simple. Compile my code from the post above
and run the app.
