Andreas, I can't see enough information in that file. But you should
always open a new bug by running:
ubuntu-bug /path/to/crash/file

I seem to have the same X Window System error which causes the attached
crash. I am on vanilla 24.04 .

I don't think this is a bug we can track in Launchpad.
* The kernel is not from Ubuntu.
* The Nvidia 560 driver is unsupported on 24.04.
* The links provided in comment #9 appear to be old and don't provably relate
to this issue.

The gnome-shell crash in comment #7 however is an Ubuntu issue, so
please follow those instructions.

I may have found the reason. I'll write an assumption, but I'll test it
soon. The fact is that the discrete video card is switched to D3Cool
mode and does not exit it. There are several ways to prevent this from

It sounds like you have multiple different bugs because those
attachments don't contain the same kernel error shown at the top of this
page.
attach.zip contains a crash report from gnome-shell which may be
relevant:

This is the second laptop of the same model, and the issue is identical:
sometimes the screen freezes, but the running programs continue to work.
The image remains static, and I have to restart the laptop. In other

persists eve
Attached are the logs from a generic Ubuntu kernel. I ran a memory check
using MemTest, and everything appears to be fine. Additionally, no
issues were observed while running Windows.

I can check concrete version of kernel if need.

It's unclear to me if the provided log is a freeze or just a warning. Or
if it's Nvidia's fault or the kernel.
Please:
1. Provide a full log from an Ubuntu kernel; and
2. Check for crashes in /var/crash
