Okey, thanks for advice!!
I'll definitely test it (It should be easy, because the cause must be the
secondary monitor - the problems did not arise, when I was running only on the
primary).
I'll check to see if it's crossed somewhere under the table and possibly buy a
new cable.

Thanks. As mentioned in comment #4, the recurring log messages are bug
1857392. But the fact that yours happen so frequently is unusual. The
messages tend to happen when the dock gets recreated.
The second issue I can see is:

nv_drm_handle_hotplug
Let's assume there are no log messages really related to the freeze. So
with that in mind, is there anything else that could cause the freeze
interval to be around one second, like a flashing cursor?

Removing Dock didn't help, I already tested.. I'll enable Dock with single
monitor and let you know.
Cursor get stuck with whole screen. I described other symptoms and possible
causes in #16, I didn't notice anything else.

Also the problem could be the dock interacting with the secondary
monitor. If so then the bug might go away by either removing the dock or
the secondary monitor. Please test each separately.

This is Wayland session.
I have disabled the Dock from previous attempts, but then I just unplugged one
monitor (secondary) and rebooted the system. I did this on Sunday night and so
far no problems.
I am still in darkmode.

Please make sure that's a Wayland session and you're not testing Xorg
with a single monitor. Because we need to know what is fixing it; Xorg
*or* using a single monitor with Wayland.

For now, with one monitor there are no problems. So I assume the problem is
related to the two monitor setup.
I have yet to notice a few accompanying problems when the error occurs:
- Occasionally, an application (e.g., browser) window jumps to the opposite
monitor.
- During the freezes, if I p
I ran on Xorg before Wayland became the default, and I didn't notice any such
problems. But surely the problem could have come with the update, I don't know
now..
I'll try disconnecting the 2nd monitor, then cancel dark mode, and then run on
Xorg.

You received this bug notification because
None of those messages identify where the problem is unfortunately. A
weakness of the log-instead-of-crash approach to error handling...
Also none of those would cause whole display freezes. So it might all
have the same root cause, but we're not seeing any hints as to what the
root cause is yet.
Please also try selecting 'Ubuntu on Xorg' at the login screen to see if
the freezes were specific to Nvidia-Wayland support.

It's happening again, I haven't enabled Dock since last disabling it..
Around 21:56, in log appears this.

Thanks. If the problem happens again, please:
1. Provide a new log from when it happened and identify the date and
time the freeze happened.
2. Try disabling Night Light if it is enabled. I'm aware of a bug in
GNOME 47 where night light animations can cause the screen to freeze and
am working on
After reboot, I havent seen the freezes..

After:
gnome-extensions disable ubuntu-d...@ubuntu.com
make sure you have logged out and in again. If the problem still happens
after logging in again then next I would try removing one monitor to see
if that's what's confusing the allocation logic.

Those messages are mostly bug 1857392 which we usually ignore but yours

Those log messages might be relevant because the "RT" thread of gnome-

Please try adding:
