Public bug reported:

I just encountered a program crash with trackerd. The submit report option died 
leaving me with a crash file in /var/crash that had not been submitted to  
launchpad. I opened up a nautilus window into /var/crash and did a right click 
on the crash file name and selected  open with "Report a problem". I then 
received an open dialog window that gave the following message:
The problem cannot be reported:

You have some obsolete package versions installed.
 Please upgrade the following packages and check if the problem 
still occurs:

debianutils

I have tried reinstalling the debianutils package. I have tried running
dpkg -C to identify broken packages and I have found no indication other
then the "report a problem" option that identifies this as an issue.
