4) Upon boot, after the "Loading, please wait..." message, it shows:
BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 11s! [kbd_mode: 974]
or BUG: soft lockup - CPU#1 stuck for 11s! [kbd_mode: 974]
for multiple times (I didn't wait to see if it disappears, but the
message repeated itself for at least 30 times)
This doesn't happen to linux-image-2.6.24-12-server.
System is a:
Dual AMD Athlon MP 1600+
4GB DDR RAM
