24.10's version of Mutter diverged too much. I'll await a response from
Andrei as to reproducibility in other window managers before proceeding.

Can't reproduce it here, but I'll upload the fix to the staging PPA for
24.10 just in case the reporter wants to test it and backport it.
Until then, Andrei: Would you be able to identify whether this also
happens under another Wayland window manager, say Sway or Hyprland?
