On the other hand, with LCD's they report correctly - my BenQ 24 monitor for example shows up with correct dimensions and matches what it's marketed as. Maybe marketing for CRT monitors use funny marketing? Anyway, several people have been reporting this issue; I'll leave this bug open to dupe
