Public bug reported: All attempts to connect to a WPA2 encrypted wireless networks using network-manager failed. Static IP addresses were required and supplied. However, as soon as I installed wicd from wicd.sourceforge.net, it connected first try after having supplied the static IP addresses, of course. I use a Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ RaLink RT2561/RT61 rev B 802.11g. I had installed all updates at 18:30 GMT+2, April 3rd. I am running Ubuntu Hardy Heron beta.
