1525 of Hardy (8.04). Very annoying.

I have the same problem, except that I do have the option of creating an
image, but not to copy to a CD (see attached screenshot).
I have tried a complete uninstall of Brasero, followed by a fresh
install, with no occurrence of change.
I am running a fresh and fully up-to-date install of Ubuntu
I get exactly the same as Roland on two separate PCs, one running 32-bit
and one running 64-bit Hardy. I initially installed 8.04 RC and upgraded
to 8.04 from there.
Version information:
Ubuntu 8.04, kernel 2.6.24-17-generic
brasero 0.7.1-3ubuntu1

I have upgraded to hardy (started with last alpha) and can also confirm that
brasero can not create images. Debug output shows the following when selecting
file output:

Did a fresh install of the final 8.04 release, and just realised that it
seems to work well now. I note that this time I have used xfs file
system instead of ext3, but I think it was not the reason, I suspect a
config file messed up during the numerous updates of the beta.
