Public bug reported: Binary package hint: thunderbird
This is not really a bug, but it is a very serious design issue in Thunderbird's Account Settings. There is a box for adding an account, but there seems to be no way (at least that I know of) for deleting an account. Even deleting and reinstalling Thunderbird does not prevent the unwanted accounts from showing up. It is sort of like the program has cancer. I am not a programmer and have been using Thunderbird for only six months, so please forgive me if this is an "ignorant" observation. Best Regards, Scott Ochiltree.
