Public bug reported:

I am running Hardy Beta with latest updates on a R60e thinkpad. Using the
keyboard preferences I choose to swap control and capslock positions. The
swapping actually works, but the capslock indicator on the laptop (a led light)
still response to the real capslock key.
That is, the capslock key acts as a ctrl key, as expected, but it also turns
the led on and off, which is unexpected. The ctrl button acts as a capslock
key, as expected, but without triggering a change of the led indicator.

(this is a new problem. It didn't exist before I upgraded to Hardy)

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
