Why not just migrate the firefox profiles (~/.mozilla in linux)? That
would presumably be way easier, put the task of upgrading things between
new versions in firefox's park (which it can handle just fine), and give
you everything you'd expect.
Then there wouldn't be any problems like migrating FF
Shunting over to migration-assistant for now, although I imagine it
might need some work in ubiquity too.
