Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

I'm using up-to-date Hardy and the latest update of the intel driver to version
2:2.2.1-1ubuntu11 made suspend/resume & hibernation unusable.
I'm reporting this as a new bug, because this happenes only with the new
linux-image 2.6.24-15-generic.

The previous version of the intel driver (2:2.2.1-1ubuntu10) had not caused
such problems with this image version though (2.6.24-15-generic)
.
I rebooted now in the older version of the kernel ( 2.6.24-14-generic) and
everything works fine with the driver 2:2.2.1-1ubuntu11 too.

This could be a liitle confusing so I'll describe it like this:

intel driver 2:2.2.1-1ubuntu11 & kernel version 2.6.24-15-generic =>
resume failes with black screen and nothing happenes after the drive
gets spinned & awake from hibernation hangs on "local-premount"

intel driver 2:2.2.1-1ubuntu11 & kernel version 2.6.24-14-generic =>
everything is OK

intel driver 2:2.2.1-1ubuntu10 & kernel version 2.6.24-15-generic =>
everything is OK

My Video Card: 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM
Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)

I loading up also the Xorg.log file with both kernels.
