Many thanks :-) testing on Ubuntu 12.04 - 64bit / AMD Phenom II 965 quadcore / 8GB It is indeed a lot better, even the sound latency has gone down. most of the time it is working. there is one persistant bug: Cannot load music: music/intro.xm somtimes still a crash followed by: Traceback
